Sunrise varies seasonally. October-November: 6:00-6:15 AM. December-February: 6:30-6:45 AM. March-May: 5:45-6:00 AM. Pickup window (3:45-4:30 AM) is timed so you are airborne before first light.

Is the view different from a normal flight?

Is Sunrise season-dependent?

Yes. Sunrise Balloon runs October 1 to May 31 - our standard flight season. Best sunrise conditions: November through February - most consistent horizon clarity.

Does sunrise reliably happen every morning?

Sunrise itself always happens. What varies is visibility. Our weather team monitors atmospheric clarity the night before. If conditions produce a weak sunrise, you still fly safely.

What if the weather cancels my flight?

Operator-cancelled flights for weather or safety get a full refund or free reschedule - your choice, no surcharge. Guest cancellations 48 hours or more before the flight allow full refund or reschedule; under 48 hours the booking is non-refundable. <a href="/cancellation-policy/">Full policy</a>.

What is the cancellation policy?

Non-group bookings: 96 hours or more before departure has no cancellation fee, 72 hours or more has a 50% fee, and under 24 hours has a 100% fee.
