Dubai balloon season opens October 1 and closes May 31. The remaining 92 days (June 1 to August 31) are closed because of heat.
Month-by-month guide
Different months offer different experiences.
- October: season opens. Warm mornings. High availability.
- November-December: peak season begins. Most consistent conditions.
- January-February: coolest dawn. Longest golden hour.
- March-April: warm dawns return. Lower crowds.
- May: season closes. Morning flights only.
Why exactly August 31?
September mornings are cool enough but upper-atmosphere conditions remain turbulent. We add a 30-day buffer.
